Perched picturesquely on the hillside overlooking Mossel Bay, Avenues Guesthouse is the ideal stopover on your Garden Route adventure, providing a comfortable and convenient retreat alongside the Indian Ocean.

Mossel Bay is located about 3 hours from Cape Town and just 2 hours from Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, two of South Africa's favourite holiday towns, making it the perfect halfway house on this stretch of coast. And the town itself is well worth exploring with the famous Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex and a variety of activities, such as surfing, sailing, diving, snorkelling, fishing and angling all within close proximity.
Your hosts Meike and Martin have been entertaining guests for many years and will be able to attend to your every need. Accommodation comes in various shapes and sizes, from cosy double rooms to more private and spacious cottages, as well as Family Units with both a double and twin bedroom. All these options come with en-suite bathrooms and toilets.
At Avenues, you can relax with friends in the tranquil courtyard, enjoy a traditional South African Barbecue and in winter, gather around the fireplace with a glass of red wine. Kick off the day with a hearty breakfast, check your mail if need be and lounge beside the solar heated pool. Extra facilities include laundry service and off street parking.
Avenues have proudly partnered with Bike & Saddle, joining our Eco-Active network after they experienced our tailor-made Cycle Trips.
