A newly opened luxury hotel in the seaside retreat of Wilderness occupying pride of place on the Garden Route, Views is simply sensational. Overlooking a beautiful and secluded stretch of beach, with lush lagoons, indigenous forest and dark black rivers winding their way past an array of birdlife, it is not difficult to see why this region is referred to as the Jewel of South Africa.

The hotel is luxury personified with eighteen five-star Suites, most of them boasting wonderful views over the Indian Ocean and with the creature comforts one would expect from such an establishment. Spoil yourself with a massage treatment at the Views Spa and Gym, relax in the Library Lounge and enjoy a cocktail or freshly prepared cuisine on the expansive deck - you may never want to leave!
Catch a tan on the roof-top pool deck and sun-terrace, relax in the air-conditioned lounge and you can even check your mail with wireless internet access. But we recommend you stroll down to the seemingly endless beach, savour the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, spot whales frolicking among the waves and toast the sunset with some sparkling wine!
Going Eco-Active
We offer a range of eco-active excursions in the region:
Kayaking on the Touws River:
We enjoy a guided kayaking excursion on the tranquil Touws River just outside Wilderness. The bird life is prolific and we head upstream with lush ferns and trees lining the banks, stopping for the odd swim and a short walk to a cascading waterfall. We circle our way back through the various lagoons and into the Serpentine, a winding waterway that flows into the sea. Contact us for more information and to make your booking.
Biking around Rondevlei:
Hop onto your trusty mountain bike for a guided cycle around the lagoons that characterise this region. From Langvlei to Rondevlei and Swartvlei, we meander along back roads through the Wilderness National Park, savouring the sweet air, sights and sounds before us. We follow an old railway track, stop off at a bird hide and circle our way back to the lodge. Contact us for more information and to make your booking.
