Join our guides for a celebration of colors, sounds, architecture, graffiti, galleries, theatre, crafts – a kaleidoscope of Cape Town’s best art and artists – explore Cape Town and its vibrant art scene, personalities and arresting architecture by bike, an exhilarating morning or afternoon experience.

Cape Town’s Art On Two Wheels Departing from Cape Town’s lovely sea view hotel, The Radisson Blu, overlooking Table Bay on the Atlantic, our first stop will be the many creative art installations along the city’s iconic beachfront promenade.

A stone’s throw away is Cape Town’s newest and arguably prettiest city park, Green Point Park where we admire the artistic interpretations and features that makes the park unique. A little further our Art on Two Wheels Cycle Tour takes us to Ground Art Café for a delicious cuppa and something sweet, while we admire the work of some of the city’s youngest artists.

Another short ride and we head up Long Street for an encounter with the city’s famous street artists, in the form of a Djembe Drumming Session, that will leave you breathless! Our next couple of stops include some of the city’s best Art Deco buildings, arguably one of its best kept secrets of the city.

For a little piece of history, along St Georges Mall we encounter a part of the Berlin Wall, as an introduction to graffiti art in the city, comparable to the best in the world. From here we venture via the Companies Gardens and our National Gallery for a more formal setting, showcasing some of the country’s finest artists.

On our return leg, we visit Cape Town’s most famous suburb, a conflagration of colors and culture in what is The Bo-Kaap, before descending back to the V&A Waterfront via a stop at The Theatre at The Rockwell in Green Point, for an introduction to the lively Cape Town performing arts scene. Fittingly, just before returning to the Radisson Blu, we pay homage to the city’s popular V&A Waterfront and the craft shed, for an introduction to arts & crafts making it’s way South from all over Africa, to be bought then and there, or bookmarked for another visit!
